I redeemed a code to get in-game content. Now what?
There are many special codes that can be used to redeem content in Destiny. Below are some steps you can follow for specific items. If you are unsure of which type code you are attempting to redeem, check out our Code Redemption page here.
Suros Arsenal and Taken King Weapons Pack code:
1.Redeem the code on your console.
2.Launch Destiny and travel to the Tower.
3.You will receive a Suros Emblem and Shader and the Emblem and Shader Collections. You will also be able to pick up Suros themed weapons from the Vanguard Quartermaster in the Hangar.
Destiny: The Taken King Digital Collectors edition codes:
1.Redeem the code on your console.
2.Launch Destiny and travel to the Tower.
3.Proceed to the postmaster to pick up your items. After this, your class specific Shaders will be available from the Shader Collection. Class items can be repurchased from the Exotic Armor Collection. Class specific Emotes can be obtained from the Emote Collection.
Nepal Aid Shader/Emblem
A. Click the "Claim Your Code" button provided in the email to
automatically re-direct to the Bungie.net code redemption portal. Please
ensure that you have logged into the correct Bungie.net account before
redeeming your code. The Shader & Emblem can be found in the Shader and Emblems Collections near Eva Levante to equip your new gear.

sign in using your current PlayStation Network or Xbox Live account – or – create
a new account by clicking “Join Up”
4.Click “Redeem”
5.Hop online and head over to the Tower
6.Locate the Shader and Emblems Collections near Eva Levante to equip your new gear.

Red Bull Quest/Focused Light Code:
1. Redeem the code on the Red Bull Quest site. This will also link to your Bungie.net account once logged in.
2. On Bungie.net, while logged into the same account as in Step 1, navigate to your Profile. Click Codes to see the list of redeemed codes.
3. From this page, apply the Focused Light consumable to your account. You may be asked to choose a console family (PlayStation or Xbox).
4. Launch Destiny on your console of choice.
5. After selecting a character, travel to the Tower.
6. Proceed to the Postmaster vendor to receive the Focused Light consumable item.
7. Once collected from the Postmaster, Focused Light can be found in that character's Inventory under Consumables.
8. To transfer Focused Light between characters in the same console family (PlayStation/Xbox), use the Vault in the Tower or on Bungie.net. Focused Light will be stored in the General section of the Vault.
The Taken King in-game quest will become available on 9/15/2015 to users who own the Taken King. If you have activated a Red Bull code on your Bungie.net account, you will have unlimited access to this quest, when it is available.
Please Note: We are aware of an issue where the Focused Light consumable failed to appear at the Postmaster for Red Bull Quest codes redeemed after 8/11/2015. No codes redeemed after this date will be lost. You can continue to redeem Red Bull Quest codes while we investigate this issue. Once the matter is resolved, the Focused Light consumable will be made available at the Postmaster.
Red Sparrow Code:
1.Redeem the code on your console.
2.Launch Destiny and travel to the Tower.
3.Proceed to the Sparrow Collection to receive your in-game item.
Please note, you will not be able to use your Sparrow until you have unlocked the ability to ride Sparrows in the game.
Blacksmith Armor Shader:
1.Depending on the code you've received, redeem the code on your console or our Bungie Code Redemption portal.
2.Launch Destiny and travel to the Tower.
3.Proceed to the Shader Collection to receive your in-game item.
