My friends are unable to join my Fireteam.

If you have friends who cannot join your Fireteam, you will need to adjust your Fireteam Privacy settings. To adjust your Fireteam Privacy settings, follow the steps below based on your console.

PlayStation 4/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360

From the roster section, select the icon at the top of your Fireteam roster.
Change your privacy settings to either Public, Friends Only, or Invite Only.

Xbox One

From the roster section, select the icon at the top of your Fireteam roster. This will take you to Xbox Home.
Select Friends.
Select My profile.
On the right under JOIN IN, select Destiny.
Set the third option to Require invites and not Set to joinable.
