How do I download Destiny, Destiny: The Taken King, or any Destiny add-ons?

If you're having issues installing the latest Destiny Update or Hotfix, you may need to install the update directly from the PlayStation Home Screen or Xbox Dashboards.

PlayStation 4:
- Press the PS button located on your controller to return to the PlayStation Home Screen.
- Press up on the D-pad and navigate to the Notifications menu.
- Click on Downloads.
- Press X on the “Destiny Update File" icon.
- Press X to Update Now.
- The update will begin automatically.
- The game is ready to play once the update finishes installing.
PlayStation 3:
- Reboot the console to return to the PlayStation Home Screen.
- Navigate to the Destiny icon under the "Game" tab.
- Press the Triangle button.
- Navigate to the "Check for Update" option.
- Press X.
- The update process will begin automatically.
- The game is ready to play once the update finishes installing.
