Titan Exotic Taikonaut not granting tracking to Rocket Launchers
The Titan Exotic helmet, Taikonaut, grants players with the perk "Air Traffic Control". This gives all equipped rocket lauchers Tracking abilities.
If the equipped rocket launcher already has a perk granting tracking abilities, neither the armor nor weapon perks will function properly. This will result in the rocket not having any ability to track targets.

I played through the weekly events multiple times and stopped receiving rewards.
Unlike other activities, Nightfall, Heroic Strike, Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris and Raids use a weekly lockout for earning activity-specific rewards. Players have until Tuesday at 2:00 AM PST/PDT, 9:00 AM UTC to complete any Nightfall, Heroic Strike, Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris, or Raid activities otherwise their progress will be reset.

The mission "A Coming War" will not resume from the last checkpoint.
Unlike other missions, "A Coming War" does not allow players to restart the mission after obtaining one of the mission checkpoints. To start "A Coming War" again from the beginning, players will have to complete the current mission play through and then launch it again from the director.

I completed an Exotic Quest step but received no reward
Exotic Quests have multiple stages. If you
did not receive a reward it is most likely due to the following reasons:
- You may not have accepted or completed the next stage of the quest.
- The next stage of the quest was not available
- The next stage of the quest was abandoned from your quest list. This can be reacquired from your abandoned quest collection in the Tower.
If you do not accept the next stage for the quest, or abandon the next quest step from your list, you may lose progress.

The subclass quest step "Complete the Path" may say "Incomplete" even after obtaining a fully unlocked build.
In order to complete the quest step "Complete the Path" the same subclass must be equipped that was used in the previous quest step ("create 25 orbs of light").
To resolve this issue, equip the subclass used in the previous quest step in any location, return to Orbit, then visit the Tower and speak with your Vanguard mentor.

1.1.2 Audio Settings Update
Update 1.1.2 introduces several new audio settings to Destiny including Game Volume, Chat Volume, and Music.
Game Volume
Game Volume adjusts all in-game dialogue, sounds effects, and music as one cohesive unit in a range from 0% to 100%.
Chat Volume
Chat Volume is a setting that will let you adjust the players on your team in a range from 50% up to +125%. These settings only apply to the chat audio coming out of your TV or headphones, not your chat headset. If you're in Party Chat, these settings will have no effect, as Party Chat settings are system-level settings.
Please note, the Chat Volume adjustment does not affect how other players perceive your voice. It is only for how you wish to hear them.
Music
There is no adjustment for the volume level of game music, by itself. The setting is to either have the music 'Not Muted (Default)' or 'Muted'. The music in the pre-rendered cinematics is
un-affected by the On / Off setting.
Note: the Game Volume setting will change the Music volume, in tandem with in-game dialogue and sound effects.

A Crucible mode was open before but now it’s locked.
In the Crucible, a mode unlocks once the previous one has been played. If you find a Crucible mode that was once opened is now locked, playing the previous mode again will open it.
Remember, some Crucible modes, like Salvage, are rotating playlists that are not always available.

A single Reward Package is received from multiple Faction/Vendor rank ups
Multiple rank increases from a Faction/Vendor give a single Reward Package.
Reward packages are not sent to the Postmaster.

A Trophy or an Achievement did not unlock in the game.
If you have a trophy or an achievement that did not unlock, double-check that you completed everything that needs to be accomplished in order to unlock the trophy or achievement. There are often several specific things that need to occur or be equipped for a trophy or achievement to unlock.
It may also be an issue of your Trophy or Achievements list not refreshing. Simply sign out of your PlayStation or Microsoft account, start the game, and sign back in to your account when prompted from the main screen.

All progress stops during the Warsat Public Event.

Ammo Synthesis
We are aware that some players are having difficulties when using their ammo synthesis packs. We are investigating this issue and will try to get this resolved as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, make sure you have verified the following actions for your inventory:
- Make sure your consumable inventory isn't full, as "sitting on" many Ammo Synthesis stacks may have to do with the issue.
- If your consumable inventory is looking full, place some Ammo Synthesis stacks in your Vault to help prevent the above-mentioned issue.
- Your character must be alive and actively in game for an Ammo Synthesis to replenish your ammo. If you use an Ammo Synthesis in the Tower, a loading screen, or while your character is not alive, you will not receive any replenishment of Ammo.

Artifacts inventory slot won't unlock
The Artifacts inventory slot will unlock once the character reaches Level 40 and has earned an Artifact through normal gameplay. Artifacts can be earned through decrypting engrams or as loot drops after reaching Level 40. Artifacts are also rewarded for completing the "Reach Level 40" step of the character's class quest.

Calcified Fragments are Character Specific, not Account based.
Players can view their character totals on the Director when viewing the Deadnaught map. Bungie does not advise using Grimoire to track progress, as this will show all Calcified Fragments found across all characters linked to a Bungie.net account.
In order to complete quest specific quantity requirements, all Fragments must be found on that specific character.

Players of Destiny can create content using our game. That content can be uploaded to content sharing networks, like YouTube, for easy distribution to the community. If monetization services are activated, the content in question must be at least 20% user generated. This includes analytical voice overs, narrative edits, graphics, or personal gameplay.

Can I use PlayStation's Share Play to invite friends to view or play Destiny?
Yes, you can use Share Play with Destiny. If you Share Play with someone, the viewer in control of your game has access to your gear, items, and character. This can result in dire consequences. Please note, Bungie cannot recover deleted characters, items, and gear.
Please exercise caution when using Share Play with strangers.

Can redeeming multiple Red Bull Quest codes cause Postmaster issues?
Yes, redeeming multiple Red Bull
Quest codes at one time can cause issues with the Postmaster. If the
inbox is full when a code is redeemed, an item currently in the inbox could be
deleted to make room. This could be an existing item or a Focused Light
consumable redeemed earlier in your session. As a workaround,
we recommend redeeming Red Bull Quest codes in small batches, accepting them
from the Postmaster in-game before redeeming additional codes.
Please note, there is a maximum of 100 Red Bull codes that can redeemed on a single Bungie.net account.

During the "Echo Chamber" strike, it is possible to die and respawn on the wrong side of the first barrier gate
If a player dies directly next to the first gate during the Echo Chamber Strike, they may be respawned on the wrong side of the gate.
In order to proceed past the Campus 9 area, Fireteam members must complete the current objective, or the Strike will need to be restarted.

BEAVER/FLATWORM/LEOPARD errors are caused by a failure to connect your console to another player’s console via the internet. This can be caused by connection quality issues (such as packet loss, ISP saturation, or general Internet congestion). It can even be caused by certain WiFi setups, faulty in-home wiring, or other issues that require on-site support or expert investigation. However, they are most commonly caused by router or network configuration issues. Faction Pledge is required to use Exotic Faction Class Items
Exotic Faction Class items cannot be equipped unless a pledge has been made to their respective faction.

If you would like to protect your gear from being dismantled accidentally, lock it down!

I accidentally Dismantled, Deleted, Infused, or Sharded an item I wanted to keep, how do I get it back?
The choices players make in
Destiny are often permanent. Please be careful when performing any manually removal actions.
Please note: Exotic Weapons/Armor, Emblems, Shaders, Ships, Sparrows that have been dismantled after update 2.0 was released may be re-acquired from their Collections. Re-acquiring from some Collections may have an in-game cost associated with them.

I accidentally left my Bungie.net Clan and lost my Founder status, how do I get it back?
When you leave a Group, the "Founder" status is given to the next Admin or remaining user.
To get your Founder status back, instruct the current Founder to promote you to Admin, and temporarily demote the rest of the Admins, leaving you as the only Admin. Have the current Founder leave the Group to pass the Founder status to you. You can then let them back into the Group, and promote all of your Admins again.

I cannot download the recent patch due to a full hard drive or low memory space.
This issue is due to a new method of patching. In order to condense our smaller patches, we have bundled them into a large Compat Pack. Some consoles need to remove certain files to properly download the Compat Pack.

I completed a Daily Heroic Story mission and received my reward, and then completed it in a higher difficulty level but received no reward.
You will only get rewards the first time you complete the

I completed an Exotic Quest step but received no reward
Exotic Quests have multiple stages. If you
did not receive a reward it is most likely due to the following reasons:
- You may not have accepted or completed the next stage of the quest.
- The next stage of the quest was not available
- The next stage of the quest was abandoned from your quest list. This can be reacquired from your abandoned quest collection in the Tower.
If you do not accept the next stage for the quest, or abandon the next quest step from your list, you may lose progress.

I completed the Weekly Heroic and Nightfall Strikes, but the Strike counter on my Strike Introduction Grimoire card is not counting them.
The Strike counter on the Strike Introduction Grimoire card only tallies a strike when it is chosen from a planetary map. This means when you select the playlist, Weekly Heroic Strike, or Nightfall Strike it will not be counted towards the Strike counter on the Grimoire card.
To complete the Grimoire card, simply select strikes within a planetary map.

I deactivated an account that was linked to my Bungie.net profile and cannot unlink it from my profile.

I didn’t receive a reward after completing The Black Garden mission.
We are aware that some users have not received a reward after completing The Black Garden mission. This can occur if a user completes the
mission and returns to orbit before the countdown timer expires. To avoid this
issue, be sure to let the timer expire and have the game return you to orbit
after completing The Black Garden.
If you have already completed The Black Garden mission but did not receive a reward, you will need replay the mission and then allow the timer to expire. Once you return to orbit, the reward should be in your inventory.

I died while interacting with a vendor and now Destiny is frozen. (Xbox 360)

I dismantled my Frontier Ghost Shell. How can I reclaim it?

I finished the Vault of Glass Raid and the boss didn't drop loot.
Players
can only earn loot from the Vault of Glass once per week, per
character. Make sure that the character you are playing on has not
already completed the activity for that given week.

I get an error when playing the Destiny Trial and I minimize the game.

I got an Exotic Engram notification but did not receive an Exotic Engram.

I have a Grimoire card unlocked for Gjallarhorn but I don't have the weapon in my Inventory or Vault.
This is likely due
to a Grimoire card code that you have redeemed and unlocked, not due to
receiving it in game. Prior to the launch of Destiny, Bungie released free
codes to redeem on Bungie.net and one of the codes contained a Grimoire entry
for Gjallarhorn. This has caused some confusion with players, as exotic weapon Grimoire cards typically appear after obtaining the weapon in game.

This issue occurs when the Kinect Chat Mixer is enabled. To resolve this issue, navigate to Settings > Display & Sound > Chat Mixer and change the option to "Do Nothing."

I joined a Group, but I don’t show up as a member of the Group’s Clan. How do I join my Clan?
When you join a Group you need to set your Clan, as well. Players
must select PlayStation and/or Xbox as their platform to be part of the Clan. The
button to select your platform Clan is visible at the top of the Group’s page.

I keep receiving a "Judgment's Grant" package when visiting Variks.

I launched a Raid/Nightfall strike and I didn't matchmake.

I lose ammo when I die or watch a cinematic

I lost all of my Raid progress.
Raids are six-player co-op missions that can take several
hours to complete. As such, Raids can be paused and resumed at another time
provided the Fireteam leader is the same player throughout the Raid. However,
Raid progress is counted over the course of a week and is reset every Tuesday morning
at 9:00 AM UTC.
If you are participating in a Raid, be sure to complete it
before the reset time in order to receive loot and experience from the Raid.

I never saw the Reef Starmap video when first entering the Vestian Outpost.
Players
who level up from level 23 to level 24 while in Orbit cannot access the Starmap
video once the Vestian Outpost is unlocked. This is a known issue we are
currently investigating.
The current solution is to switch out armor to be level 24, enter an activity and promptly return to Orbit. You will then be able to see the Starmap video when launching into the Vestian Outpost.

I played Destiny on last-gen and switched to current-gen within the console family, and now I don't have access to my pre-order content.
The pre-order red sparrow, shaders, and Collector’s Edition exclusive codes are platform specific and cannot be transferred. I played through the weekly events multiple times and stopped receiving rewards.
Unlike other activities, Nightfall, Heroic Strike, Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris and Raids use a weekly lockout for earning activity-specific rewards. Players have until Tuesday at 2:00 AM PST/PDT, 9:00 AM UTC to complete any Nightfall, Heroic Strike, Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris, or Raid activities otherwise their progress will be reset.

I purchased Expansion content from a retailer and when I entered the code it didn't unlock the content.
Some retailers will credit your Xbox Live or PlayStation Network account with a dollar value rather than unlocking the Expansion content.
Please check your PlayStation Network or Xbox Live account and verify that you have either received the Expansion or received credit to purchase the Expansion. If you have verified that you have received credit in the dollar amount of the Expansion, simply purchase the Expansion and begin your download.

I receive a looping update when I launch Destiny on my PlayStation 4.
A number of players have experienced an issue where an infinite loop of an "Installing Update" screen flashes between the Destiny game screen and the PlayStation 4 home screen.
While we investigate this issue, there is a workaround where the player must access their Download list and delete the Destiny ShareFactory Theme notification from the list to get the looping update to cease.

I see a friend on the roster but cannot join their game.
If you cannot join a game with another player you see on the roster, this may be a result of you and the other player not having the same version of Destiny. To avoid this, be sure both you and the other player have the most up-to-date version Destiny installed.
If you're not sure if you have the latest version of Destiny, restarting the game should apply the latest patch and install the latest version of the game.

I signed out of my account on Bungie.net to sign into a different account, but it automatically logs me in to the previous account.
This issue occurs if you're still signed in to PlayStation Network or Microsoft that are linked to your Bungie.net account. To completely sign out clear your internet cache and cookies, or sign out manually from the site that is linked to your Bungie.net account. After you have completed these steps you can sign into a different account.

I tried to pick up more Treasure Keys and they did not show up in my Inventory or Postmaster.
After the House of Wolves launch, you'll find Treasure Keys while playing Destiny.
However, there are some special tidbits you may or may not know about the Treasure Keys:
- • Maximum stack size in your Inventory is 5
- • Maximum stack size in your Vault is 5
- • If your Inventory stack is full, any additional keys may not go to the Postmaster
- • You are guaranteed (1) key from Petra in the reef, when turning in your first bounty after weekly reset.

I’m not seeing any clan features options on the Bungie.net Clan page in my admin tools.
Clan features can only be enabled after a valid clan tag has

I’m not seeing the cinematics at the end of missions.
After completing missions and certain story-based activities,
a timer will begin counting down to the end of the activity until you are
automatically sent into orbit. Bypassing these countdowns and manually returning
to orbit skips the cinematics that normally play at the end of activities.
If
you would like to see the cinematics after missions and activities, simply let the countdown timer expire.

I'm not getting credit for completing Bounties.
We are aware that some players are not receiving credit for
Bounties that involve killing a Boss at the end.

Killing Omnigul during a Weekly Heroic Strike doesn't give credit for completing the Will of Crota bounty
The Will of Crota bounty can only be completed by defeating Omnigul when the Strike was launched from the Earth map in the Director, or as part of the Vanguard Legacy Strike or Marmoset Strike Playlists.
If this Strike is completed from the Weekly Heroic Strike playlist credit towards the Will of Crota bounty will not be received. We apologize for the confusion.

My Extra Heavy Ammo perks only grant one extra bullet.
All weapons have a cap on ammo reserves; the ammo cap is dependent on magazine size. If you have a gear upgrade that increases heavy ammo to your weapon's ammo cap, it will only add one round to the ammo reserves. Please plan your perks accordingly.

My materials take up too much space in my Inventory, is there anything I can do to solve this?
The max limit for materials per Inventory node is 200.
When you gather over 200 of any material type you can get into a situation
where after decreasing material count to less than 200, the materials will
still take up 2 nodes. Currently, the only way to consolidate the materials is
to put them in a Vault, then reclaim them.

Abandoning a Patrol mission before or after entering the Court of Oryx may cause the objective progress UI not to display properly.

Players are locked out of the throne room in Scourge of Winter mission.
Some players have reported that entering and then leaving

The enemy team left our Trials of Osiris match and it said we lost.

The Speaker is not exchanging materials for me.
In order to see the Speaker’s exchange materials list, you
must have your materials in your character Inventory. The options will appear
according to what materials you have on hand.

The subclass quest step "Complete the Path" may say "Incomplete" even after obtaining a fully unlocked build.
In order to complete the quest step "Complete the Path" the same subclass must be equipped that was used in the previous quest step ("create 25 orbs of light").
To resolve this issue, equip the subclass used in the previous quest step in any location, return to Orbit, then visit the Tower and speak with your Vanguard mentor.

Founder's Fortune Year One Emblem, Sparrow, Shader and more with

The Titan Sunbreaker perk "Fire Keeper" does not work with overlapping sunspots.
The Titan Sunbreaker perk "Fire Keeper" gives the player an overshield when standing in a Sunspot. If a second Sunspot is created that overlaps the first, the overshield will not be maintained by the second Sunspot. To get the overshield benefit from the second Sunspot, the player will need to exit and re-enter the Sunspot.

The waypoint for the Draksis Taken Hunt Patrol may update before the objective is complete.
Sometimes the waypoint for the Draksis Taken Hunt Patrol will update early and prompt the player to move to the next quest location before all the Taken enemies have been eliminated.

The Year Two Skull of Dire Ahamkara is not showing up in the Exotic Armor Blueprints.
Bungie is aware that the Skull of Dire Ahamkara Exotic Warlock Helmet is not showing up in the Exotic Armor Blueprints. We are investigating the issue and recommend that players do not dismantle the Skull of Dire Ahamkara as there is currently no way to get another copy from the Exotic Armor Blueprints.

There is no quest marker for "The Court of Oryx" Quest
Bungie is aware of an issue where the Quest marker for starting "The Court of Oryx" Quest is not visible. This Quest can be accessed by speaking to Eris Morn in the Tower after participating in any Court of Oryx victory on any tier.

There’s no sound in the game after waking up Xbox One from Sleep Mode.
If Destiny is running when an Xbox One goes into Sleep Mode,
waking up the Xbox One and returning to Destiny can cause issues with sound. If
you experience this, please try one of the following:
- Exit to the dashboard and then return to the game.
- Exit to the dashboard, quit the game, then restart the game.
- Shut down your Xbox One for 30 seconds then reboot.

Titan Exotic Taikonaut not granting tracking to Rocket Launchers
The Titan Exotic helmet, Taikonaut, grants players with the perk "Air Traffic Control". This gives all equipped rocket lauchers Tracking abilities.
If the equipped rocket launcher already has a perk granting tracking abilities, neither the armor nor weapon perks will function properly. This will result in the rocket not having any ability to track targets.

Titan perk "disintegrate" is using two melee charges
When the Year 2 "Insurmountable Skullfort" helmet is equipped, an extra melee charge is granted.
Using a special melee on an enemy will deplete both charges.

Vendors are missing Items or Bounties
Players are currently reporting that they're unable to view vendor inventories in the Tower, as well as Reef.
There are two known workarounds that a player can execute to see vendor inventory:
1. Delete all bounties on your guardian
2. Transfer weapons, armor, and items to other guardians

Void Master Bounty Step requires Void kills on the Dreadnaught
The bounty step "Void Master" requires 30 enemy kills with Void damage without dying. These kills must take place on the Dreadnaught, and must be Void Abilities, as opposed to Void weapon damage.

Warlock perk "Amplitude" is not triggering
When Year 2 "Claws of Ahamkara" gauntlets are equipped, the perk

Weapon perk "Perfectionist" triggers on Kills as opposed to Shots
The weapon perk "Perfectionist" requires all shots fired to be precision kills in order to trigger a magazine refill.

What is Connection Recovery?
Connection Recovery occurs when Destiny delays your connection interruption and attempts to recover the game state. Instead of returning to Orbit and being removed from the game, you may experience a blank screen for a short amount of time and return to the game in one of the following states:
- You'll see a brief loading screen, then load back into the match in the "Guardian Down" state
- You'll suddenly appear in a "Guardian Down" state with no death screen
- All status effects and impermanent objects (eg: Scorch Cannon) may be removed from the game world when your connection is re-established

What purpose does a Bungie.net Clan Alliance serve?
The current purpose of an Alliance is to link together Clans that share like-minded interests and to allow larger communities and organizations to sort their Clan members by interest. Clans who have reached the 100 member cap on Clan rosters can use the Alliance feature to grow by creating more Clans and link them together with an Alliance.
A Clan may only join one Alliance. However, an Alliance can be made up of any number of Clans.
To help navigate through Clan Alliances, there is a navigation tab at the top right of your Group page so you can easily jump from one Clan to another within an Alliance.

When I sign into Bungie.net with my PlayStation Network account I receive an external authentication error.
This sign in error occurs when a PlayStation Network account needs more information added onto the PSN account. Users need to navigate to the Sony PlayStation Network site and make sure all info is filled out to meet the sign in credentials. After you add the proper information to your PlayStation account, attempt to sign into Bungie.net with your PSN account once more.

Why am I unable to progress on the Shrine of Oryx mission?
We are aware of players being unable to progress the Hall of Wisdom checkpoint during the Shrine of Oryx mission . If your objective does not update properly, move to the current waypoint. Backtrack through the previously traversed hallway, then proceed through the mission as normal. You should now see your objective waypoint update to reflect your current progresss.

Why did my Fireteam die from Critical Objectives in the Prison of Elders?
Within the Prison of Elders you may encounter "Critical Objectives". Your Fireteam will wipe if these objectives are not successfully completed, even after defeating all enemies and bosses for that round.

Wolfsgrin Emblem is not appearing in Emblem Collection
When completing a step in the "Neverending Battle" quest, players can obtain the Wolfsgrin Emblem.
If character Emblem inventory is full, Wolfsgrin will not be sent to the Postmaster at the Tower, or appear at the Emblem Collection Kiosk.
Please ensure there is space in character Emblem inventory when completing this quest line.
